Beliefs. We believe that factors influencing human discretionary decision-making lead to persistent market opportunities for systematic trading strategies. Behavioral biases consistently create alpha-generating opportunities for systematic-trading methods, especially those that are designed to take advantage of the shortcomings of human decision-making in the face of uncertainty.

Process.  We seek to produce right-skewed distribution of superior risk-adjusted returns with low correlation and low beta to major market indices, while seeking to minimize drawdowns, achieve desired volatility targets, and position the strategy to perform well regardless of market conditions.

Risk-Focused.  We approach investment design and portfolio construction with the idea that managing risk is the single most important factor in generating consistent long-term returns. The fundamental order of importance we place on risk-management is our defining strength.

Systematic.  Breacher has designed multiple systematic trading-orientated equity strategies that use a hybrid approach to investing that combines a broad array of fundamental and quantitative inputs -- including value,  quality, growth, turnarounds, spinoffs, mean reversion, momentum, long-term and Intraday price movements -- to exploit biases.

Unique.  Our team’s training in statistics, mathematics and complex systems, coupled with our unique combination of trading experience and, allocating acumen, comes together into what we believe are novel ideas and strategies.
